Deck Overview:
Volo, Guide to Monsters is a very interesting deck to build and even more interesting to play, making use of unique creature types and creating additional copies of those creatures. I personally love making two Myr Battlespheres or two End-Raze Forerunners to close out a game. Utility creatures like Acidic Slime and Hullbreaker Horror can really take over a game and break parity. A plethora of card draw in both creature form and enchantments means your hand is always full.

- Unique Creature Types: Volo’s ability to copy creatures if they are unique types makes for powerful board states with cards like Myr Battlesphere and End-Raze Forerunners.
- Utility Creatures: Cards like Acidic Slime and Hullbreaker Horror provide valuable utility and control options.

- Ramp Package: A full ramp package ensures you can cast your commander on time with protection backup. Radagast the Brown serves as a suitable backup commander.
Strategy Overview:
This deck is slightly more thoughtful to play as you have to be aware of the creature types you are playing. It plays at a 5/6 power level but can win out of nowhere with cards like Second Harvest. The strategy revolves around ramping, casting unique creatures, and using Volo to copy them for maximum impact.
